9 Best Fixes for Alexa Not Responding to Voice Commands on Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K

Amazon’s Alexa AI voice assistant helps access various functions on your Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K. You can start playing a movie, ask for weather updates, navigate through search results, and more. It is helpful for elders who can use voice commands to operate the Fire TV Stick 4K.

This post will share solutions to help you if Alexa is not responding to voice commands on your Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K.

1. Bring the Remote Closer

As per the instruction manual for Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, the distance between the Fire TV remote and the Fire TV Stick 4K should be at most 10 feet. If the Alexa button is not working for you, the solution to try is moving the remote closer to the Fire TV Stick 4K.

2. Pair the Fire TV Remote Again

The next solution is to pair the Fire TV remote again with your TV. The steps mentioned below apply to the 2nd gen and 3rd gen Fire TV remotes.

Step 1: Press the Left Navigation button, Menu button, and Back button until the blue light blinks on the remote.

4. Disconnect Bluetooth Headphones
